Backed by in-house engineering expertise and technical support teams, this business partners with customers to deliver design-led, consultative technical solutions across industrial, medical, defence, and transportation sectors.
The Role
You’ll be managing and growing key customer accounts, driving new business, and developing design-in opportunities to convert into long-term recurring projects. This is a technical sales position focusing on embedded computing and display solutions, with a pipeline driven by technical partnership rather than transactional sales.
You’ll work with engineers, buyers, and senior decision-makers across varied sectors, building and managing a pipeline, preparing quotes, closing orders, and tracking your activities in CRM.
Key Responsibilities

Drive new business with high-potential customers across embedded computing and display solutions.

Manage key account relationships, ensuring retention and growth.

Identify and develop design-in opportunities to secure long-term recurring projects.

Partner with suppliers and internal engineers to deliver bespoke technical solutions.

Generate quotations, manage RFQs, and lead negotiations to close.

Represent the business at exhibitions and industry events.

Maintain accurate pipeline management and reporting via CRM.

Work cross-functionally with technical and operational teams to ensure customer delivery.
About You

Background in technical sales within electronics, embedded computing, IoT, edge computing, or similar sectors.

Comfortable working across the full sales cycle from technical concept discussions to close.

Experience selling products that require design and manufacture, not just catalogue sales.

Familiarity with embedded computing platforms, boards, display panels, and IoT systems is advantageous.

Proficient with Microsoft Office and CRM systems.

Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across the Midlands and North.
