You’ll join a business investing in systems and team development, playing a key role in shaping quality processes, not just maintaining them. This is a hands-on role: engaging with suppliers, goods-in, engineering, and proactively preventing issues.
Responsibilities

Review documentation, certificates, and drawings during goods-in and production.

Engage with suppliers and internal teams to ensure compliance and clarity.

Lead non-conformance investigations and resolutions across multiple sites.

Conduct internal process and system audits (ISO 9001; exposure to 14001/45001).

Collaborate closely with Quality Manager and Senior Inspector—mentor inspection and engineering teams.

Champion best engineering practices, not just standards compliance.
Experience required

Mechanical or manufacturing engineering background.

Strong knowledge of inspection, metrology, materials, and using gauges, hand tools, and part inspection strategies.

Proficient in interpreting technical drawings.

Familiar with ISO 9001 (14001/45001 advantageous).

Experience with MRP systems.

Exposure to DNV, Lloyd’s, or equivalent standards.

Practical, sleeves-up attitude ready to support others while delivering your own work.

Experience (or strong interest) in process auditing and health & safety.
